In a unexpected crossover event that breaks traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Disclosed

According to the official statement, "An unusual encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of forbidden practices and terrifying changes echo through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden sect.

The adventure concentrates on "strange experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Changes

The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Bonus Content

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an unique katana together with numerous items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
